@veritaschoolgr: There is something different about encountering history where it was created. At the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, our Secondary students stepped into a space where past and present meet, exploring one of the most significant cultural landmarks in the world. Through guided observation and discussion, they connected with the stories behind the monuments: the people, the ideas, and the values that continue to resonate today. Living and learning in Greece is a privilege we never take for granted. The history, art, and ideas that shaped so much of the modern world are not confined to textbooks here. They are part of the landscape, the language, and the daily rhythm of life. Field trips like this one remind us that being curious, compassionate global citizens begins with understanding the culture and place we call home. What begins as a visit becomes something more: a moment of reflection, perspective, and discovery.
