@imransanchez: Bhakti — devotion — is such a powerful emotion. Ever since I began dancing, I’ve always felt that sense of berbakti… to the art form, and to dance itself. This piece, Khande Khande Seeta Yai, was not an easy journey for me. Portraying Hanuman in search of Seeta challenged me in ways I didn’t expect. Tuhan je tahu how many times I was corrected, pushed, and reminded to find both elegance and refinement within the movement. But on stage, it became one of the most powerful moments I’ve ever experienced. The music, the emotion, the energy from the audience — it was beyond anything I imagined. I am grateful that I dance. And that I chose this path. Here’s to continuing this journey, to keep growing, learning, and giving.
