To remember your circle of fifths, start at C, then go left adding sharps. G for 1 sharp, D for 2, etc. When you reach the end, loop back to the other side adding “sharp.” F-sharp, C-sharp. Go the opposite for flats. C, F for one flat, loop back to the other side adding “flat,” B-flat, E-flat. Both directions ending at C
