@leokatieocd: Such a valid question… I think one of the reasons ppl who give OCD advice on here (me included) don’t really explain what that means is because accepting uncertainty is really just: ✨NOT TRYING TO GET CERTAINTY✨ …Not trying to answer the question your brain asks, find clarity or feel sure, or okay, or “right”. It’s just about showing up how you want to in your life, regardless of the anxiety & fear. It’s hard. But once you can do that, everything starts to get easier. And you start to see that 99% of the things you worried about & let control your life, weren’t even real. For help specifically with Relationship OCD (the theme I struggled with the most) check out my app “PeachyTalks” And follow for more OCD advice & content 🤍 #rocd #ocd #rumination #uncertainty #ocdsupport
But I can’t go on with life with that stressing exhausting feeling, how do i go on?

Exactly !! Great advice thanks for going into more detail 🫶🏼 It’s the compulsions that keeps the cycle going, the more you check and seek reassurance , the more urgency, doubt, and anxiety kicks in. It’s a vicious cycle 😅 but by not engaging at the start it makes things easier for us in the long run 💕
