About the description these sorts of front power assists technically aren't even legal so there's no way the nhs would cover them unless that law changes (they exist in a legal grey area), they should absolutely fund smartdrive style ones and powered wheels though

My Batec can go up to 25km/h (15mph) and I genuinely feel like I'm flying sometimes 😅 I was SO scared the first time I went that fast

Would a power assist wheelchair also help? Might be easier to manoeuvre and also less strain on the body? I’m getting one because my back wouldn’t be able to handle a completely manual one. I’m pretty sure it’s speed limit is going to be 10 km/h. And it’ll have a self-drive option too! (Can you tell I’m excited? 🤭)

i’ve got the Empulse F55. Bastard barely fits into my Kia Stonic’s boot but my god does it make my chair look snazzy. Also goes about 9mph 💨

My elesmart goes up to 25-30km/hr! I don’t go over 20km/hr personally but I love having the option to. My typical speed is about 14km/hr, up to about 19km/hr going down hills

my little sister has that same thing for her wheelchair!! it helps her so much and makes my moms life alot easier too(my sisters a teenager and humans arent the lightest to push uphill..)

Got my new attachment, named him zippy and our top speed currently is about 17mph 😅 really depends how much weight I’ve got on me. There’s a stretch of the cycle lane that stays quite quiet and the ground is flat and very little obstacles so I just go as fast as it can go for fun 😂
