@kiliansart: lots of long nights… If you don’t know me yet, my name is Kilian Krüger. Most people know me for the broken glass portraits and the videos online. But it didn’t start there. Years ago I was just experimenting with glass in a small room, trying to create something people had never seen before. No team. No connections. No plan B. Just thousands of hours working with a material that most people are afraid to even touch. Over time I developed my own technique using real glass fractures and controlled tension to create portraits completely by hand. Today my artworks are collected internationally and have been shipped to places like New York and Dubai. But what people usually see is only the final artwork. What they don’t see are the failed pieces, the pressure, the risk of every hit on the glass and the years it took to understand the material. I’m still learning. Still experimenting. Still trying to push the material further with every new piece. This is only the beginning.
