Have you heard of/experienced the Coyote motors having a slight tick/knock I’ve heard it can be a common thing with these motors but it isn’t problematic

What about when I press on the glass and it ticks a few times only when I’m lightly on the gas and it only ticks like 3 times. If I’m heavy on the gas it doesn’t do it.

My transmission seems fine but my 2020 5.0 v8 rattles on acceleration between 1-2 rpm. It's not heat shield. It's had two engine replacements due to oil issues. The rattle always remains though.

Yup I hate it. When your against a wall you can hear is loudly and at idle. Already had the dealer check it and yes it’s a known service bulletin. No action required. My only complaint on my truck.

its not 1st-4th lmao the reason they whine is because the transmission pump is gear driven and on a 10r60/80 those gears are straight cut unlike the 10l80 gm uses which uses helical cut gears your hearing the same thing that comes from rally car transmissions

What about the 3rd gear hesitation when the trans is cold. I had a remand transmission put in 1 year ago and when cold and getting up to speed it will like go into neutral then skip third into fourth gear. And I don’t even beat on it. I love the 5.0 but the 10r80 is questionable at best.
