🌻🙌🏻 FAITH-FILLED FRIDAY — I’VE GOT A REASON TO PRAISE HIM! ❤️☀️ GOOD MORNING, SISTERS!!! 🌸 It’s FRIDAY!!! And I don’t know about y’all, but I feel like we ought to start this morning with a little PRAISE! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 Can I take y’all back to those old Southern mornings when somebody would be standing in the kitchen, washing dishes, sweeping the floor, or hanging clothes on the line… And all of a sudden, you’d hear them singing an old gospel song! Before you knew it, that little humming turned into full-blown PRAISING! 😂❤️ Hands lifted! Feet moving! And somebody hollering… “LORD, YOU SURE HAVE BEEN GOOD TO ME!” 🙌🏻 Oh, Sisters, THAT’S the kind of joy I’m talking about this morning! Not because everything in life is perfect. Not because every prayer has been answered the way we hoped. And certainly not because we haven’t had our share of troubles. BUT BECAUSE GOD HAS BEEN FAITHFUL THROUGH IT ALL! ❤️ Sisters, think about it! There were days we didn’t know how we were going to make it. Nights when sleep wouldn’t come. Seasons when our hearts were heavy. And moments when all we could do was whisper, “Lord, help me.” But LOOK AT US THIS MORNING! We’re still here! Still breathing! Still standing! And still serving a God who has NEVER stopped loving us! 🙌🏻 Now, if that doesn’t give us a reason to praise Him, I don’t know what will! 📖 “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24 KJV Sisters, sometimes we get so caught up in what’s going wrong that we forget to celebrate what’s going RIGHT! You woke up this morning! That’s a blessing! You’ve got another opportunity to love somebody, encourage somebody, and tell somebody about Jesus! That’s a blessing! And even if life isn’t exactly where you want it to be… GOD IS STILL GOOD! 🙌🏻❤️ You know what I love about those old Southern women who weren’t afraid to praise the Lord? They didn’t wait until Sunday morning! They praised Him in the kitchen! In the garden! While folding laundry! And sometimes right out in the middle of the yard! 😂 They understood something we all need to remember. PRAISE ISN’T JUST SOMETHING WE DO IN CHURCH. IT’S SOMETHING WE CAN LIVE EVERY DAY! So this morning, Sisters, turn on that gospel music! Open those curtains! Let the sunshine in! And if you feel like raising your hands and doing a little happy dance right there in your kitchen… WELL, YOU GO RIGHT AHEAD! 😂🙌🏻 Because we have a mighty good reason to rejoice! 🌸 TODAY’S FAITH-FILLED FRIDAY CHALLENGE: Before you start worrying about everything you need to do today, take a moment to PRAISE GOD for what He’s already done! Thank Him for His mercy. Thank Him for His grace. Thank Him for His faithfulness. And thank Him for loving us even on the days when we weren’t very lovable! ❤️ 👇 NOW LET’S TALK, SISTERS! WHO’S GOT A REASON TO PRAISE JESUS THIS MORNING?! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I want to fill these comments with THANKSGIVING! Tell me ONE thing God has done for you that makes you want to throw your hands up and shout… “HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU, JESUS!” ❤️ It doesn’t have to be something big. Sometimes the smallest blessings deserve the loudest praise! And remember, Sisters… You don’t have to wait until everything is going right to praise the One who has been holding you through it all.
