GENUINELY cause I feel like no one deserves me, and not in an “I’m better than them” way but in a “no one deserves to be burdened with me” way, I’ve gone so long and missed so many chances at relationships because I feel like offering up anything but my physical and mental peak would be doing a disservice to my partner :p

it's like dating will never be for me cause not only do i not even know how to differentiate romantic love and attraction from others, i also don't have the capacity to love myself nor have the confidence to feel like I'm deserving of someone else's love. relationships are so hard and people are complex so just thinking about it makes me want to stay the hell away. but at the same time humans live for art and romance so the fact that im intentionally putting myself in a corner, isolating myself as a mere observer to these kinds of things sucks and yet something ive accepted??? that's why i only like relationships and romance in stories, because most times they're only portraying one face of something i can never fully understand in my life.
