I am a lucid dreamer. And I can confirm that you can read text, but most of the times it is gibberish. If a (short) text makes sense it changes every time you look away and back at it. So, it can read something like „Do not touch the button“, and next time you look at it it may say „Thursday will be yesterday“. 😁 Same thing happens when you try to write something. The text will change every time you read it.
