Celebs in the past got married for love Denzel, Samuel L., Angela Bassett, Goldie Hawn etc. but nowadays it is a rare sight to see celebrities actually in love and adoration for their other half. Only one I know of today would be Zendaya and Tom.

So if celebrities are doing this for profit and notice ability, is it to impress the Public so that they will watch their shows more. Or is it to impress the powers to be into giving them jobs and then keeping them in line?

I totally agree. First of all, as you say, everything is for their career. And even though they plan that way, many of them are just living in the moment themselves. Their daily lives are incredibly fast-paced, which is why they view things like weddings or having children from a completely different perspective. Of course, there are plenty of exceptions, and not every celebrity is like that, but it’s the norm in this industry. And you really can’t compare that to us “normal” people. But to be fair, there are plenty of people who get married for other reasons, like love—like good money, for example. Opinions on these topics simply vary far too widely. But yes, this glorification is simply something that usually ends in disillusionment at some point.
