This is a good idea but what happened to Cash just left in your bank. Hear me out, I’m a strong advocate of keeping your money invested but if all your funds are invested in assets that can’t be liquidated in less than a day, that’s an issue. One of the metrics of a successful business is the amount of cash in bank that can be easily used for growth projects, same with humans. You should have some Cash in bank and some in Mutual funds or HISA (like Piggyvest Flexnaira) that keeps your money invested but allows easy withdraw during emergencies.

Also the reason they most likely won’t is 1) Those apps you mention don’t hold your money they are like middlemen so they are not a liquid as you might think. 2) For them to offer this they will have to go through another set of accreditation and government approvals to be able to operate as a loan company. 3) Like I said before it is too risky especially for a company that doesn’t hold people’s money so essentially they will be borrowing you their own money not the money other people deposited what happens if the stock market crashes?

It is too risky. Stocks might be great now but ask the OGs what happened in 2008 if something like that happens again those companies will go bankrupt because the collateral will worth less than the loans

Not sure how that would benefit them. The incentive for them is to hold your funds/assets and use them to do business/borrow money for business respectively. Don't think that's want to pass over that advantage to you 🤷♀️

Is there a way Bamboo or any app can give a situation, where one uses his RSA to buy stocks/share, so by the time one retires, he has real value for what he had been deducted over 20/30yrs of pension remittance. I am just thinking out loud
