I am level 2 autism And I have trouble sharing my thoughts and I tend to mask. I’m getting better. Not saying that I’m cured or anything, but I’m still learning and growing as an individual.

Well said 😎👊✨. There is indeed a vast spectrum of neurodiversity, and not everyone chooses to disclose it publicly. I have never followed anyone on any of my social media platforms, primarily due to demand avoidance and the nature of algorithms. Instead, I prefer to engage with videos that genuinely resonate with me, whether from creators within my specific niche or those who discuss topics of personal importance. Although my content is related to ESL (English as a second language) and it does not explicitly mention my own neurodiversity, I am certain that my neurodivergent nature and the enthusiasm I feel when a student succeeds contribute significantly to the "energy" that helps everyone connect with the words I teach. It is unfortunate that it took me over 55 years to cease heeding advice from others who encouraged me to conceal my energetic excitement and to moderate my voice and stims. It was only after I removed those masks and allowed others to see my authentic self while I was teaching, that I recognized people appreciate that authenticity. In fact, some don't even care to learn ESL, they are only watching my videos to see my reactions when one of my students is successful! The very thing I was scolded for all my life and told to lessen. My genuine self had led to a lifetime of masking. To shed those masks and subsequently gain nearly two million followers across my social media is still unimaginable to me, yet it has become my reality. It was watching different content creators like you, that gave me the courage to start a social media presence almost a year ago. It is a crazy new world. So thank you and keep producing your videos knowing you have and are inspiring others. 😎👊✨

I have a very ableist view of ASD. Even though I have an official diagnosis of ASD level 1 and inattentive ADHD I fight with myself everyday trying to accept it. it has been closing onto 2 years and I still do not accept my diagnosis. Were you diagnosed in adulthood or childhood?

I'll have to come back after I've made a list. 😂 I've followed many different diverse creators over the years, with varying backgrounds, experiences, viewpoints, etc... I probably have about 30-ish that I know of, that I keep up with (more if I actually looked thru who I follow) But I don't know if you want me to blow up your comment section. 😂☠️
