@thebrainmaze: A Beautiful Way to Explain Chaos Theory - We created this animation to visualize chaos theory in the simplest way possible. All 10 pendulums begin almost identically, separated by only 1 degree, yet over time their motion becomes completely different.
chaos is just a pattern we dont understand..... there is no such thing as chaos.

I can predict it will draw a solid circle eventually

But as you can see, the pendulums all reached a certain height. There's a threshold above which none of them can go. Thus it isn't completely random. Certain parameters of this complex system can be predicted depending on factors like initial force used

Wait. I thought butterfly effect is when a butterfly move its wings and it made a gush of wind somewhere? or am I wrong?

Fixed centre point, fixed length and hinges? That’s not really chaos.

Check out my page I have some lovely work on a novel framework that can predict instability in chaotic systems

Humans are drawn to finding patterns. Even with the most random things, we still try to predict a pattern

this needs to be in 3 dimensions to actually predict anything in our perspective.

Explaining, Chaos-Theory… just ‘Disproves’ the Theory… Logic/ Explanation is formed… by Building Patterns (Imaginary) and Repeating them… forming “PREDICTABLE- Outcomes” before the Event happens/ “comes to a Conclusion”… How does… Irrational Results lead to a “Constant, Singular Conclusion”, Every-time? The Graph/ Plot… is ALL WRONG! It’s Just a “CRAZY” amount of work!

I wonder what happens to the chaos theory in a vacuum where gravity has no influence

it's not a choas if you have a center
its just more complicated than you can process
