I served in the United States Army for 20 years the best food I have found service wise goes to the Air Force Navy second Army 3rd finally the Marine corps Air Force was pretty much gourmet we would be on detail Pearl harbor hickam Air Force base area we always hit up the Air Force chow hall. so good.

sailors paying for food is a slight of hand, they are given BAS. When I was in the money was given to the command, not the individual sailor.

In Afghanistan we got about 60 dollars per person per day. Food was 👍. In the Navy the fed us dogshit. Some of the boxes would say rejected by the federal prison system or for military and prisoner use only.
