@nikandliv.diy: We went on our bucket list trip and almost stayed under budget... until the hospital bill came in😅🇨🇭 Switzerland truly feels like a FAIRYTALE. Every single place looked unreal in person. We flew Tulsa - Atlanta → Zurich, and having only one layover made traveling with two little kids SO much easier. If you're planning Switzerland with kids, avoiding multiple connections is a game changer. One of our biggest travel tips: when booking hotels overseas, translate and book directly through the hotel's website instead of American booking sites. We saved OVER $1,000 per night on some hotels just by avoiding the international upcharges. Our first stop was Lake Lucerne. We headed up to Mount Pilatus, absolutely a must see. The views, activities, and scenery honestly don't even look real. We used Grindelwald as our home base while exploring the surrounding alpine villages, and it was perfect.
