I recognised you from another similar video you did on Billie Eilish, so your caption saying “this isn’t about veganism” feels very disgenuine when you mention him being vegetarian here. how do you think this is going to land for brown, black and indigenous vegans? veganism is built off our backs, so hiding behind this “white vegans/animal lovers make me uncomfortable because they love animals but are racist” okay so stop engaging with them? talking about them? you think BIPOC vegans haven’t been putting in the work to combat this? maybe try and uplift our voices. what do you think YOU’RE achieving here.

let's remember that just because some vegans don't extend empathy to humans doesn't mean we should put heat on all animal activists who choose to speak on a industry that is very messed up. Even if as a human you don't have empathy for animals there will always be humans that do and that's okay. agree to disagree with them but likening them to Hitler is a bit weird.
