You should try Musashi in the Kottbusser Damm when you’re back in Berlin. When I lived in Berlin, even when it was quite a time ago, it was one of my absolute favorites, very authentic, with Japanese people owning it. It’s absolutely not fancy, but I remember it was often full. I see it is still there so I think it is the best recommendation one can receive: that a restaurant is still on the map after 20+ years. I’d take there all of my guests that visited me back then. (Before 2011!). If you try, let me know how did you like it. 🥰🥰🥰
