@abbzfit: Frozen shoulder during menopause is far more common than most women realise. As estrogen levels decline, inflammation within the body can increase… And for some women, this can affect the shoulder joint, causing pain, stiffness, weakness, and reduced movement. Simple things like: ❌ Reaching overhead ❌ Putting on a bra ❌ Sleeping comfortably ❌ Lifting weights can suddenly become painful and frustrating. And the hardest part? A lot of women are told it’s “just ageing” without understanding the hormonal connection behind it. The good news is… Movement is still important. Completely avoiding exercise can often make things worse over time. The key is adjusting your training properly: ✔️ Reduce inflammation where possible ✔️ Focus on controlled movement ✔️ Prioritise recovery ✔️ Strength train around the injury ✔️ Support your body with good nutrition, protein, sleep, and mobility work Menopause changes the way your body responds… But it doesn’t mean your fitness journey is over. You just need a smarter approach 👊
