Grab a plastic sheet for the door of the kitchen, once you start sanding inside that dust will get everywhere. I had to clean the leaves on my upstairs plants because I sanded my cabinet doors in the kitchen. You just have to sand in place and paint in place , it’s long , it’s tedious, but it is so worth it in the end. Make sure you get the right brushes / rollers and the right cabinet paint , trying to use wall paint on cabinets will result in disaster. Zinsser primer is the best. Don’t forget to sand in between coats ! You will see all brush marks and drips.

We literally just did this :-) A spray gun makes a huge difference in making it look professional. Your hand will die putting back the hinges and screwing them back in - use an impact driver.

Little jewelry plastic bags are great for putting the screws in, and can easily be taped to the back of the cabinet they are for. Also remember the imperfections are what makes it feel like a cozy home.

There is an amazing melamine paint that will self level ..go to either a reputable paint store or Home Depot.. ask them!! You will regret not using the right stuff

Here if you have any questions! Open a window when painting inside :) scuff sand between coats but don’t leave a long time between scuff sand and coat of pant. You’ve got this!
