We had our kids pick out their own bedding, pillows and some decor pieces. Helped them adjust to sleeping in there own room and having their own space.

We did the same thing! Full size bed for our kiddo made such a difference. No toddler bed, straight from crib to full size. Then if she’s ever sick or we need to sleep in with her we can.
