@dangrievegolf: ( HOP AND STOP SPIN ) #release3 One of the most fun shots in golf is the bunker shot loaded with spin, and this was one of my favourite bunker shots of 2025! Not only does it look amazing, but it’s also super useful - like in this scenario, where I needed to clear a high lip and then stop the ball quickly with control! . HOW I PLAYED THIS SHOT: 1️⃣ Use a small amount of shaft lean (to promote wrist hinge) 2️⃣ Take just one inch of sand 3️⃣ Use the #release3 swing for maximum height . 👉 Bonus tip: Some players find success by feeling like they’re “striking a match” at impact. This helps add clubhead speed under the ball and generates that crisp spin. . Drew :

Are you using a 60* or a Sand wedge?

S. A. :

Our bunkers very fluffy and soft, hard to get that lovely thump get more of a poosh-mehf , but the ball does come out.

Thor and Sam :

Tried this on Saturday pumped it over the green and into the wind bushes behind it

Andy K :

It’s as easy as that 😂😂😂🙄

Astrid :

You could eat soup with that wedge

Karl Zarse, M.D. :

Allows me to chunk it like crazy. Instead keeping the loft and rotating my body prevents that
