i went through it bright and early this morning. it was intense and twice, the agents had not arrived. taxi drop off -> Dublin Airport security -> USA passengers are routed downstairs, but must wait for staff to open the USA level (arrive at 7am) -> wait another 20 mins to take escalators back upstairs where CBP agents review passport and ask anything to declare -> finally arrive at gates. insanely lengthy. maybe it was just this morning.

Advice… get food and anything duty free BEFORE us pre clearance. Once you go thru it’s like being held in a holding cell. Not much to do in the 400s. Jus sayin.

I don’t really understand all the screaming Eagles in the Star-Spangled Banner and all the American flags, but I do love the pre-clearance because it’s so much easier to go through customs and passport control there than having to do it somewhere like JFK
