That version of a drop off daycare doesn’t solve if you need to go to the bank or go Birthday shopping. They do exist but they can be pricey and hard to find.

my sister joined the YMCA when her kids were younger, she would work at a table for a while, take a class or walk around their indoor track while taking calls, all because they had the free drop off daycare

This SPOKE TO ME!!!! I'm always telling people in customer service, "we can't be the only ones going thru this, there's gotta be an answer to this problem in place already... What is it? Tell me! It ain't hard and doesn't need to be" That dna joke had me rolling. I've been trying to get past my mom's DNA to reach my dad's height for over 30yrs now 🤣
