Is it a HUGE deal? Of course not. It’s siblings being siblings. BUT, she was uncomfortable and stressed, and she should have been validated, not dismissed. No one is saying ground the boy for life, but validate the girl’s feelings. Because at home, it’s siblings pranking. At a friends house or at school, it’s a much bigger deal. You’re right to let her know that.

I have it drilled into my son's head that safe adults don't make you keep secrets or tell lies. If someone tells you "Don't tell Mommy" thats exactly when you should tell me. You're a great father. Thank you for believing her and being her safe place.

Always believe your daughter my mother didnt believe me over something another girl done in my house when i was younger and now as an adult my anxiety tells me not to speak on things cuz nobody will believe me anyway not a good thing to learn as a child
