Accessability settings might have light options for calls and text. I looked on my phone and is doesn't have it but my previous phone did but to be fair I have an old phone as I use my phones until something happens to I can't anymore. So, I'm on a galaxy 21 gen.

Apple has good haptics for dnd, in turn Samsung had cool features with their edge display for incoming calls. It’s just lazy cost cutting from the developers.

doesn't samsung have a recording light? i mean it's on screen but it shows a green light next to your battery, wifi/signal icons? it comes up when you're on a call too because it's using your recording components

I miss the little blue light that flashed when someone messaged. That way when I was away from my phone I can see that I have a notification.
