The main problem I have is that textbooks are making harder questions because people are using AI, which then imcentivises more people to use AI. For example, no one is using AI for 1+1. but there are some problems that are genuinely too for no reason, and I know they're too hard because the questions on the test are easier

While I agree with the sentiment, this really sets up the idea that no qualifications are valid and can make some people believe that they know just as much through a Google search then a person doing a full degree. I'm sure many do use AI but making it a blank sweeping assumption that it's all 100% AI will just make even more people distrust experts

Even aside from how college has changed with AI,I got a bachelor's in 2019 and not a single person with a bachelor's is an "expert" in their subject. You don't become an expert after 4 years of study

i work with 3 people currently studying law at university and 2 of them heavily rely on AI and the third her professors tell them to use it for their work instead of actually teaching them... why tf are people paying so much money to be told to just use AI
