My husband prunes fruit trees. Just tell the trees a few days before you prune or mow around them and they shouldn’t be as prickly.

Just communicate with the trees when you do stuff to them let them know beforehand. Let them know that you love and respect them and you’re just trying to keep them safe and healthy and the trees do not hate you that isn’t even something that they can understand. It’s all love. You might get your grumpy tree here and there, but it’s never gonna hate you.🥰

Have you tried communicating with them? They want you to sit with them and talk to them and when you have to prune them explain to them why and see if they respond. They’d rather be decorated than pruned.

Gravenstien apples are my absolute favourite apples! They are the juiciest apples ever. My parents had a lovely big tree in the backyard. When we would bite into them, the juice would run down our arms. Yes, they're great in pies but if you love a juicy, tart apple, these are the best eating apples as well. Stop and talk to the trees. Explain the process and give it love. Maybe you can win them over. 🥰
