Oh wow. You just put words to something I felt but didn’t realize. I got my MA in intercultural communication almost 20 years ago 👵🏼 and in some of my intercultural and feminist communication classes I could feel like we were bumping up against something important and I was frustrated that it was like “this amazing feminist cohort! Look! Ok that was enough, look away RIGHT NOW!” . . . And yeah now I have an ecofeminist temple space. Time to revisit this!

yes!!! i find it so frustrating how frequently spirituality is overlooked within academia. i went into philosophy expecting it to be an open-minded field, and instead it’s often extremely limited by its own self-imposed rules.
