every time you finish pumping gas and you put the nozzle back it tells you right on the screen if you want a receipt or not that me the transaction is completed hope this helps

just fyi, my job is to work on these pumps. this guy doesn't know what he's talking about. don't believe everything you see on tiktok. the screw is too prevent the flapper from coming too far forward to prevent it from shutting off during your transaction. there's a sensor in the nozzle boot (what this guy calls a cradle) that activates when the flapper is in the correct position. if it comes too far forward, the dispenser will act like it was never picked up, or shut off mid fueling. I will make a video on this at some point to show you all.

Yeah so that’s 💯 wrong. The transaction begins when you remove the nozzle and ands when it is replaced. So if anything, the screw would prevent you from beginning the transaction.
