I tried that lots of times and every time the vocal in the new section is different to the rest of the song. So now I go to cover, manually edit the lyrics in the lyric box (do not click the wand) Then choose 0% on weirdness and 100% on style and 100% on audio in the advanced drop down. Then click create you get the exact same audio with the new lyrics. Works for me 99.9% of the time with more vocal consistency than the editor option weirdly.

I usually make at least 200 versions of a song before I’m happy with it… and replacing the lyrics feature is shockingly poor. Also… who is using Suno without writing their own lyrics??? Occasionally I get an amazing version but they pronounce a word wrong so I’ve tried the edit lyric but it’s never produced a good result. It’s better to use the song with the fault as an audio influence for a new song with the same settings and hope it gets it all right this time
