My husband and I gave up stability, comfort, and the “safe” route to build businesses we believed in. People thought we were crazy for risking so much, and chasing something that wasn’t guaranteed. Most people never see the late nights, the sacrifices, the fear, the setbacks, or the moments you question everything. They only see the result once it starts coming together. So if you’re building something right now and people don’t understand it yet, keep going. Sometimes the vision was only given to you. And honestly, embroidery changed so much for our family. It gave me a way to create, provide, stay home with my babies, and build something that was truly ours. That’s why I’m so passionate about teaching and helping other embroiders do the same in their own way. You are an inspiration for me to keep going. I’ve had my 20 needle machine for about a year and a half. I was doing good but had some issues with hats and needle breaks that frustrated me. So I covered the machine and haven’t touched it in months. I’m about to get back on it!!! I’m in my own way and I need to stop it! Can you share how you did your table/ island for your studio?
