Very wise , I was just watching an episode of rhonj when Delorus passed a comment on her ex husband whom she’s been separated for over 20 years but they are best friends and he’s moved back into the family home . He was just disbarred , I can’t remember the reason but he never told her but told their son and she was really angry for him not telling her . When she was doing her interview section she said I would prefer to be angry than lonely. This is a person who is dismissive of feelings and if other people want to express their feelings she was no time for it . That was the way they were raised. Store up the anger and weaponise it when needed . And she’s proud of that fact . Made me realise there are alot of people out there who do exactly that ,Anger as power and then a complete lack of empathy because they don’t take the time to think of how someone else could actually be “ feeling “

If someone is being a jerk it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do your job any differently and it doesn’t matter the reason. You’re paid to serve, no one asked you to get that job. There isn’t an excuse to be a jerk but how someone acts isn’t up to us. Plain and simple if someone slaps you in the left cheek turn and give them your right one.
