In a deep bowl, combine (lukewarm) water, yeast, and sugar. Stir well. Add the beaten egg, melted butter, and sunflower oil. Mix well. Add the flour and salt. Mix until combined. Knead the dough for 10-12 minutes until smooth.   Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place or until it has doubled in size.   Transfer the dough onto a floured work surface and roll it out into a rectangular shape. Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces.   Place the pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush them with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds over them. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes in a warm place, or until it has doubled in size.   Place the bread in a preheated oven at 200°C. Bake for 8-15 minutes. Keep an eye on the baking time; they are ready to be taken out of the oven when they are golden brown.   Peel and chop the yellow onion.
