There was a pillow shortage at Beaumont Hospital this summer when my 85 yo uncle was there. He only got one. Pillows are vital to positioning and comfort. We bought some for him and brought them in.

I work in corrections and they get a blanket and pillow, and with certain conditions and age, a second mattress.

They do this at Centennial Hills here in Vegas. My friend had surgery there and all they had was bath blankets, staff told us this. We had to bring a blanket from home.
