1st date is to get to see the person and my only evaluation after that date is "am I excited to see them for a second time?" 2nd date I evaluate "do we connect on the same levels, are there at least some similarities that we can go from there? Am I interested in getting to know them better?" 3rd date evaluate "do we have the same values and long-term goals?" After date 3 I'm usually locked in if it's still a yes

It’s frustrating because i genuinely like most of the people im going on dates with. They’re great people, I enjoy them as humans, I just don’t feel a romantic connection or any spark with any of them. Could romance develop in time? Maybe… but is it fair to drag it out on a maybe? No… so I don’t want to date anymore 😭

2-3 dates to validate or invalidate initial feelings. If you’re exploring long term potential, I believe it takes 6-7 dates for that sense of familiarity and chemistry to kick in. Sometimes you just need to go on different kinds of dates or put yourselves in different environments to know for sure.
