you should be okay just keep an eye on the swelling!! mine were suuuper swollen for a few days and then the swelling was minimal after that. if in a few days the flat backs are digging quite badly into your lip then you’ll 100% need longer bars. they look so good though i’m obsessed🤭(also ice is going to be your best friend, trust me!!)

The tucking under the skin is normal, once it heals you’ll have little circle dents from the inside of the jewlery but it’s normal i promise

they're embedding slightly, i would recommend you constantly push them back, but the same happened to me so don't worry

it’s a normal thing don’t worry just keep an eye on it! your lip naturally creates a bed for the flatback to sit in, so nesting’s normal to an extent. as long as you can still push the bar out, and the bar is visible, you’re all good. mine did that too but it’s healing!

yup! And looks like your piercer did a great job by angling them upwards too! It'll feel weird for a long while, but the swelling will go down in a week or two, and then the bar will start catching on your teeth lol. Just make sure you go and get the bar changed smaller once the swelling goes down!

It's fine you're just quite swollen which is normal 😊 keep an eye on the back of those bars. If they start disappearing any more than this you need longer bars ASAP.

it might be just the fact that ur lips are really swollen from it, you could try to ice it and maybe try finding longer bar jewellery so they dont get embedded

i think the bars are too short, you need atleast a 12mm bar, and as i can see urs are 10mm or 9, and that wont be enough for the sweelling, it will embend from the inside and ur skin will grow on it ( i learnt this the hard way, get them pierced with a longer bar pls)

It looks like the jewlery is just nesting which is totally normal. I suggest icing it to help with swelling and if it gets worse then get longer bars

Tbh i had 2 or 3cm long bar when it healed 😅 a week later i wore like 1cm bar
