A dealership knows the cost of repairs. A good dealership will provide why your vehicle not at the top value of it needed improvements. Pay offs dealerships can find out quickly. Carvana still needs to go thru the car. The offers from them are not guaranteed.

It should be on autotrader. That way you have it at retail. Then they can’t low ball you. You’ll usually sell it before you get to the dealer, or allow them an opportunity to make an offer but hold firm at your number.

I can usually get within a couple grand of what my trades are worth with cash offers, kbb and looking at the retail market. If I trade it with problems I have a pretty good expectations of taking a doc on the price. People need to have reasonable expectations.

I won’t ever let you “match” with tax savings…that’s not matching. If those places can afford that price, so can the dealership.

No put a wash on it bring it in on empty, take out the stereo, take out the all season floor mats, disconnect the battery and clear the check engine lights. Go to carmax and get a offer in writing. Dont tell the dealer you have a offer, they will low ball you then you bring it out. Also go on the internet and get the best price without a trade valued. Drop the internet price after the first paperwork dont tell them you were on line first.
