Kind of amazing that something so small can have such a big impact. You chose Paris because she was small and strong, and surely you’re not the first girl to make that same choice over thousands of years. But Paris was unique, and that’s what’s amazing. Cats have existed in their current form for hundreds of thousands of years, and there’s never been one just like Paris. And you’re lucky because you got the one that was. In one way, you’re never alone in this feeling. Plenty of little girls have loved their little kitties before, but none have ever loved Paris before like you did. And that’s why it’s so special. I hope you’re able to remember her fondly, and know that she’ll always be carried wherever you go

Losing a pet is so incredibly difficult and complex, there’s truly no way to describe how much different it is than losing a person. It hurts so bad and so consistently until it doesn’t, and then it comes in waves. I like to think those waves of sadness are just them coming for a visit to remind you of how great your time together was, and how much they loved you. Sending you so much love through this 🫶🏻
