i stay home and im pretty much bed bound and im still having seizures daily. it happens from nothing, or excitement or just being sick. my point is she couldve still been having seizures sadly if she stayed home too. im glad she got to dress up w her sissys. does the neurologist have her on any seizure meds or rescue meds?

No guilt. Sending her to the prom was an amazing experience for her & you probably would have felt guilt AND regret if she didn't get to go.

Prayers 🙏🙌💞 I am so very sorry she's having the seizures. I didn't think about the lights and music triggers. Please don't blame yourself, it could possibly be she's growing/changing and her medication levels need to be adjusted. The prom was a magical time and all the girls will have treasured memories.

Kendra got seizures when the school fire alarms would go on! I've noticed they come after she feels stressed out, hope it gets better for poor Micaela 🥲 I know it's weird but you should let her walk barefoot on the grass or dirt & let her hug a tree.. making ground helps us humans release accumulated stress.. it has worked for us 🥰

Easier said than done, but try not to overthink and guilty yourself. During the prom she was having the best time as well as the family. While things after may be negative don't let them overshadow the in the moment excitement.
