Even if you get a new job, you have to catch up from when you didn’t have one! I’m still recovering from having to take a lower paying job cause some income was better than none

Right people don’t realize losing a job means losing your health insurance especially if you got it through work , any benefits and perks that came with your job that made your life easier, and the co workers who were your family away from home in a time where all it’s seems we do to survive is WORK

I quit my job in 2024 bc it was making me emotionally and physically sick, but whole time, I think they were quietly pushing me out. It took me 5 months to get another job in that field and I have my masters. I ended up having to take a significant pay cut out of desperation. Going months without work really does set you back and even when you do start making income again, you have to pay what it owed!

Yesss!!! I got laid off > got dumped > no car all in a span of 3 months. It was so hard and frustrating to try and get on track again. SPIRALING IS SO REAL.

Not only this, but imagine your friends asking you to hang out and you have to constantly tell them no and stay in the house, because you don’t know when your next check is gonna come, you stop dating because that cost money, bills are piling up, and like you said….
