i don’t need to tell you but i think ive got a pretty good break down for people, mostly its a spectrum of all the stuff between traditional and new school, its got the composition and aesthetic of traditional (you can tell it was drawn to be a tattoo) but trad sits so flat so its got more depth and definition like in new school but new school doesn’t have the same tattoo aesthetic that has become the expected norm. so its the perfect blend of both worlds. some simpler neo is closer to traditional and some more illustrative stuff closer to new school. like how in hip hop you’ve got beastie boys and biggie, super different but still fall in a hip hop category.
