I’m a side baby and yes it sucked.. my brothers lived across the street from me and my daddy would drive past me playing outside. Just to have my brother come outside and say “daddy want to see you”.. a mess.

I’m a bastard side baby on both sides. The legitimate child of my father was born less than 2 months after me. Luckily toward me, the wife was never mean. I liked her more than my own mother. My mother was engaged to my older sister’s father when I was conceived and born and she initially passed me off as his. I’ve always had this feeling of being unanchored and unsupported, it just dawned on me this is why.

I literally got pissed off at my daddy all over again as an adult about his side babies because I actually really like them. I ended up working with my sister and me and my brother both do hair. I look more like them then my full siblings and I feel like we missed out on knowing each other. Everyone loses.
