@_talithaa8: Just because I’m positive and show up on social media doesn’t mean I don’t have difficult and frustrating days. As well as Arlo being blind he is also just a toddler with high sensory needs. I couldn’t even film him loosing his own patience with his cane at the start I ended up carrying him to the cafe (which is fair kids sometimes don’t want to want to) but then before I even got my coffee he was agitated didn’t want to stand, didn’t want to be held so he was trying to express his emotions through physical behaviour grabbing my hair and scratching… I literally get so overwhelmed when this happened especially in public when people don’t understand. We walked back to the car and he did not want to go in the car seat again frustrated feelings! Literally had to self regulate in the car because as a mum you try and do everything take them to the park have a nice day out explore but sometimes our days look like this… I ended up finding the positive out of finding this great park but damn it wasn’t easy #mumlife #mumstruggles #disabilityawareness #blindtok #toddlermum
