I’ve been practicing over 25 years and still feel “new” lol. What I can say is, it’s always been a very lonely path for me. I’m so happy to see public communities building, but I feel one needs to also be comfortable in their solitary practice. 💜

Yesssssss!!!! People always made fun of me for being different. My love for practical magic was so great when the movie came out I went to the theatre 3 times to see it. Excessive, but I was so excited to see such a beautiful story on screen about the things I loved most. Now those same people who talked their shit about me being into “dark stuff” want to know all about it & can’t wait for practical magic 2. Never was it dark, they just didn’t understand me.

I also love your statement of who looks witchy and who is actually living it. People usually are so surprised when they find out I practice cause I do not dress anything like what people expect a “witch” wears. But I ve been practicing since I was a child and mostly in solidarity and hidden. I really just recently started sharing more online.
