As lame as this answer may seem, I'm mostly getting Joyous and the purple haired lady are still alive. At least if we're looking at this through the lense of playable translation. They'll NEVER let us play as someone who looks as cool as Arche and the big dude. Archie I think is still alive because he gives potential boss fight energy. Again, lame answers, I know. More of an meta analysis but that's how I see it playing out.

i feel aboslutely that the purple haired lady (the falkenheyn mercenary leader) is the zenless zone zero universe equivalent to characters like raiden shogun from genshin impact, raiden mei from honkai impact and acheron from honkai star rail, just like sunbringer is basically confirmed to be this universe's equivalent to kiana kaslana from honkai impact, who is raidem mei's lover. in the grand multiverse that is the hoyoverse, these two are the most important characters to have ever existed
