You can't really compare this and sophisticated backpacks. This is clearly supposed to be a vanilla style backpack that lets you have more storage without going beyond the vanilla feel. Sophisticated backpacks is definitely very not vanilla. It's purpose built for massive modpacks. That's why it can hold hundreds of thousands of items with full upgrades.

Yo someone tell me if this is a good idea. For an experimental inventory update what if they changed it to be similar to subnautica where some items take up multiple slots maybe items like boats. Of course we would keep the minecraft stack of 64 but i feel like trying something like that would work fun
