just saw this and really needed to hear it. my mom gave me an ultimatum for being a lesbian where i either chose my partner or her. because of this, i lived a double life for as long as i could to preserve the relationship i had with my mom. it didn’t work out. now i feel like i’m moving on and processing through my grief, and at times, especially on mother’s day, i find myself thinking back on it. thanks for posting this. ✨💕
