My abusive alcoholic ex from when I was 16 crossed paths with me in my adult life when I was visiting his step dad who was sick. His parents literally told me to stay away from him and never get back with him. I house sat for them one day and went up to my ex’s old bedroom (he no longer lived there obviously) but every thing I ever made him/everything from our relationship was still there like a time capsule. He never even had another girlfriend after me. Also didn’t kick his alcoholism either. Definitely stayed where I left him!

For reference yall. He face-timed me I NEVER went to his place. He gave me a tour of his new living situation virtually and I noticed sprinkles of everything I left. Including my pillow case and lamp and some more items. Those two particularly have a story😘

The video isnt about him its for the girls/guys who are in a situation where their heart is broken and they are losing things, for me it was my apartment, my path and any direction I had. My life completely changed for the better once i let go, and let god!! Sometimes we have to go through hard shit just a reminder it gets better❤️❤️. Obviously a few of us are focused on the tangible aspect of this video. Not the metaphorical ones. I wont sit here and explain the situation that happened and why these items meant a little more. But i hope if you feel stuck and like if you leave you will lose everything. Just know it gets better
