“You just have to win.” Win what? The award for the world’s worst relationship? I constantly had to point out that there isn’t a winner and a loser in a relationship. We either both win or we both lose. It wasn’t until I got out that I realized it was abuse. And, my ex definitely felt like she was “winning” in a game I had no clue I was playing.

Every time. Every time I tried to communicate I was argumentative, I was never happy, I loved drama. Then he used that as an excuse to just walk away when I was in the middle of a sentence.
